Rafael Guijarro is proof that hard work, dedication and a solid game plan pays off as he celebrates his latest victory, his chance to compete at the 2014 CrossFit Games in the men’s masters division.
The official CrossFit Games competition will take place this July in Carson, Calif. at the Stub Hub Center.
Over 7100 men across the world combated for this coveted opportunity. The Top 20 made it and are gearing up for a life changing event.
Guijarro and his wife, Angie opened CrossFit Frezny in 2011. Once a traditional garage box, the business has grown to 150 members and occupies 11,000 share feet of fitness space in southwest Bakersfield.
Among the accomplishments in Guijarro’s life; before he started CrossFit, he competed in Swimming and Water Polo both at the NCAA level and International level. Thereafter, he coached swimming and water polo at both age-group level and NCAA level. With his extensive coaching and athletic experience he continues to motivate and inspire people to achieve their fitness goals. He graduated from CSU Bakersfield with a B.S. in Exercise Science/Kinesiology
